The sacrament of Confirmation completes the sacraments of initiation, and is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. Through the reception of this sacrament, the individual is enriched with the Holy Spirit, His gifts and fruits. Confirmation incorporates us more firmly into Christ, strengthens our bond with the Church, associates us more closely with her mission and helps us bear witness to the Christian faith in words accompanied by deeds.
This sacrament is most often received in the early teen years. Preparation for Confirmation is accomplished through the Faith Formation classes.
Baptized adults seeking Confirmation are invited to participate in the RCIA classes. The sacrament of Confirmation is typically celebrated by a bishop. Please call the Parish Office for more information.
