Family Faith Formation at St. John the Evangelist Parish Allenton

Volunteers Needed

Plans are now underway for the upcoming 2022-2023 fall Family Faith Formation school year. After speaking with many parents and students, Fr. Mike and myself have decided that in-person learning is the best choice for our students in the new school year. One of the biggest challenges we face to bring back in-person learning this fall is the need for catechists and classroom aides.

The success of our Family Faith Formation program depends on dedicated individuals in our parish who are willing to share their time, talents, and faith with our parish youth. We encourage all parishioners, as well as the parents of children in our program, to help out in some way.

God asks each of us to use our talents to help others grow in a deeper relationship with Him. Helping our youth learn what that means through faith formation, sacramental preparation, VBS, and spiritual growth is a gift both given and received.

How is God calling YOU to use your talents to minister to others? Please prayerfully consider sharing your time and gifts with the Family Faith Formation program.

If the Lord is calling you to share your faith with our young people, please contact Christine Medley at (810) 395-2301 or [email protected] or fill out the Volunteer Interest Form on the reverse side of this flyer and return to Christine Medley, Director of Faith Formation, P.O. Box 10, Allenton, MI 48002.
